The difference between how fast claims software programs adjudicate claims and perform EDI imports can be nanoseconds. Where the rubber hits the road is how well it allows you to provide the information your members want quickly and accurately – that’s the difference between. customer service and customer satisfaction.
“I’ve worked on 7 different claims processing systems over the past 19 years, and Virtual Benefits Administrator takes the Blue Ribbon. It’s so easy to use. I can get all the information I need for every call within 30 seconds!”…Tom Pritula, Conservent Benefit Plan Administrators.
The new release of Virtual Benefits Administrator (VBA3) provides one, common architecture for all processes. It will allow you to process medical, dental, vision, disability, life, FSA, HRA, and HSA claims all on one easy-to-use software application. Plus customer service, plan management and reporting are included.
Your I.T. department will no longer have to deal with the issues that arise from creating and maintaining interfaces for multiple software applications.
In order to be sure that these enhancements are meeting the future needs of a top-tier company like yours, would you please take 30 seconds to request a personalized, risk free demo?

VBA Version 3
I wanted to kick off an open discussion about our latest offering at Virtual Benefits Administrator. Our core benefit and claims administration application offers many modules and services for third-party administrators. Our existing product is written as a client/server offering and although the technology is aged it is both scalable and reliable.
I'll get the boring technical piece of this out of the way first. When I set out to change the architecture of the existing product I wanted to make sure I looked at several approaches and find the one that best fit what our current client base and future client base would benefit from. To this end I went with a Smart Client approach with a Microsoft SQL Server backend. For those who care about the technology, there is a great book: Smart Client Architecture and Design Guide by Mark Boulter, that will give you a ton of insight into the architecture. You can also get some decent information at the Smart Client Wiki.
Now the fun stuff.. I am very interested in hearing from you, the community, on what functionality you expect or wish existed in a Benefits and Claims Administration application. Beyond our traditional modules I am looking to incorporate Letter Generation and an even more robust Reporting module. At VBA we try to offer the most comprehensive tool, in one offering, that handles all your administrative needs.
Thanks,
Rich
